Steel’n Nature is owned and operated by Bill Humphries. An artist who has been featured in exhibits since 1984. Showcasing his work in B.C. Place and The McPherson Playhouse. Over that time he has been able to develop a style of craftsmanship truly unique to the west coast of British Columbia. Now a retired ship-rite he has found a new use for the excess materials he collected over the years. Combining those with other materials found on Vancouver Island the outcome is something that cannot be reproduced. When you combine Gary Oak, Arbutus, Western Maple, and Holy into a wooden sculpture the result truly is a work or art.

The majority of the inspiration for the featured art comes from the Pacific Ocean or the thick forests that are so close to home. If you have any other ideas don’t hesitate to contact us.
